Fractured leg puts Amulya out of action

At the recent promotions of the Kannada film Male, the film’s lead actress Amulya was spotted hobbling around with a cast around her left ankle. The actress has apparently suffered a hairline fracture after falling off a two-wheeler.
“I play a tomboy in one of my next films which requires me to ride a heavy bike. Since I have not ridden a two-wheeler in a long time, I decided to practice on a scooter first. During one practice session, I accelerated too much and applied breaks suddenly. I fell and the scooter landed on my left ankle,” says Amulya. Interestingly, despite being asked to rest her leg for 10 days, the actress took time out to promote her upcoming release in the absence of hero Prem. “I will now be on complete rest for at least a week, so that I am fit to start shooting Ramleela by April 6,” she says.
